Large and impressive 17th-century solid walnut canter cabinet with ebonized frames.
The front of the cabinet has 2 columns at the sides with threaded maple details and ebonized capitals.
In the center are two small upper drawers and below 4 large drawers.
On the two sides are drawers and doors inside of which are shelves, the last of which hides a secret .
The doors are decorated with carved ashlars.
Very beautiful are the heart-shaped locks on the drawers. All the locks are original, as are the drawer runners.
The foot of the cabinet is corbelled and also ebonized.
