An Italian walnut dresser from the 17th century with four drawers, canted sides with doors, molded accents and rustic character. Created in Italy during the 17th century, this walnut dresser features a rectangular top with canted sides and protruding front, sitting above an elegant façade. The center is occupied by four drawers adorned with molded accents and fitted with bronze hardware. The sides are canted and each showcase a single door decorated in the same manner, opening to reveal unfinished inner shelves offering additional storage opportunities. The back is, of course, simply planked and unfinished as well. The ensemble is raised on a conforming plinth creating a perfect visual conclusion. With its clean and elegant lines, convenient design and great rustic character, this Italian walnut dresser from the 17th Century will make for a wonderful addition to any home, particularly placed in a living room or in a dining room, perhaps topped with a mirror and a pair of candlesticks.
