Antique Chinese Silvery bronze lobed “Beast and Birds” Mirror, Tang Dynasty. The eight-foliated barbed form having a a center cast relief knop in a four legged Beast form surrounded by four relief geese with wings outstretched, interspersed with floral sprigs, the outer rim having a raised border with alternating butterflies and flowering plants. The verso slightly convex. Fitted box.
