Vintage Design
An early design by the well -known luminous designer Ingo Maurer from the end of the 1960s in the early 1970s.
An elegant and classic design in an impressive size. The name is reflected in the formal language of the lamp. The foot shows the segmentation of bamboo, but designed here in an idealized form and in metal.
The cover of the umbrella and foot is special. The umbrella starts slightly above the last segment and is mounted on the inside on an inconspicuous bar. An effect arises as if the umbrella seems to float over the foot.
The large umbrella itself is made of a dark box and bordered with a shiny volume at the top and bottom. The inside is carried out silver -colored, which increases the reflection of the light. The striking foot switch and the cable outlet on the top of the foot are particularly noteworthy.
