Bosei pendant lamp by AOAO Dimensions: W 85 x D 85 x H 165 cm Materials: Gypsum. Color: pink beige. The piece is hand-made in the Netherlands. Color options are available upon request. The size of the lamp can be customized. The lamp contains 3xTala bulbs. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. The Bosei is a one-of-a-kind gypsum pendant lamp. The title translates to “motherhood” in Japanese. While sculpting, we looked for a correlation between protection and comfort. We created a shape which looks and feels different from both sides and represents these opposing qualities. Studio AOAO is an interdisciplinary studio combining art and design. It was created by Alicja Strzyzynska and Onur Iseri in Amsterdam in 2020.
