Handsome 19th century English William IV writing table or desk crafted from mixed fruitwood and oak. The table has storage drawers on each end with patinated brass pulls. The top has a decorative ogee edge on the border. The desk features whimsical turned and fluted legs ending with ball feet. Lovely aged patina on the finish with fair joinery and wood shrinkage as seen in photos. The distinctive style is similar to French Louis Philippe pieces.
