For sale is a fine quality William IV Mahogany extending dining table with five original additional leaves. When closed, the table top is round and is supported by an ornate base to the centre, with four shaped and carved legs stemming from a central column. The table extends via a pull out mechanism. Each end of the table has two foldable turned and fluted legs, terminating on brass castors, to support the additional leaves when the table is extended, so when the table is closed, the legs neatly fold away underneath the tabletop. For transport, the table comes into seven pieces (5 leaves, tabletop and base) The overall condition of the table is very good, with minor wear commensurate with age and use.
A great table for a large dining room or boardroom etc.
