A rosewood and ormolu mounted bracket clock. With an eight day twin fusee movement, signed Adams of Lombard Street on the 5 inch silvered dial and movement back plate. Striking on a bell.
The case of this bracket clock has a delightful pergoda topped ormolu mount, with a concealed raising carrying handle.
This is a beautiful clock of small proportions, the mounts showing a lioness defending her cubs from a snake, with flanking coin stone detail to the corners of the case.
Thomas Adams of 36 Lombard Street, who later went on to work with Richard Widenham 1839-45, who is recorded as maker to Prince Albert.
This Clock is shown unserviced and will come with our 2 year guarantee. The clock will require servicing before it can be shipped.
