A stunning early 19th Century William IV mahogany lamp, side or centre table, finely hand carved and of exceptional quality with rich patination and grain. The well figured moulded top of rectangular form with finial detail is embellished to the central reserve with a fabulous inlaid diamond pattern. Raised above simple frieze to the fore with single cockbeaded drawer with turned pulls and brass escutcheon which opens to reveal lined interior and is fitted with a single dummy drawer verso. Supported on beautifully carved, ring turned baluster pod above concave quatrefoil base with elegant bun foot terminating on brass casters.
