A very rare pair of 19th century William IV mahogany card tables attributed to Dublin maker Williams & Gibton. This fabulous pair of turn over leaf card tables are of gorgeous quality, finely hand carved with rich patination and grain. The finely figured, moulded D shaped hinged top folds back to reveal a green baize fitted playing surface. Raised above an elegantly simple frieze with a centred recessed panel flanked with beautiful scroll and trailing foliate detail. Supported on finely turned hexagonal baluster pod with gorgeous rope twist and foliate carved detail above quatrefoil platform base terminating on out swept scroll foot with brass casters.
