Vintage Design
The original Kaare Klint wall and table lamp 306 “Kiplamp”. This unusual vintage wall & desk light was designed by Kaare Klint for Le Klint in Denmark. First produced in the 1940s this example was manufactured in the early 1950s. The light features a black lacquered brass base with black bakelite handle and fabric lampshade. The original shade has been refurbished with off-white cotton. The shade is on top of a wire frame which is mounted on to the bulb. The shade can be turned in different positions. The light is adjustable and can be used as a wall lamp as well as a desk lamp. Total height with lampshade is 19.3″ (49 cm), width 6″ (15 cm), depth 7.9″ (20 cm). Size lampshade: height 9.1″ (23 cm), diameter at bottom 6″ (15 cm), diameter at top 2.6″ (6.5 cm). The light requires one E26/E27 bulb.
