A good looking and well made piece, it has a very Pugin look and feel to it, the pillared legs and finial tops look architectural. The table is a nice size unlike a lot of others which are too narrow, the back has a number of hat or coat hooks, the middle row has been removed apart from the top one so this can take umbrellas or coats or if you wish and is the fashion, a mirror can be fitted. The left side of the table has a rail and drip tray for umbrellas at the base, the right has the tray but no rail
In terms of the condition we have cleaned waxed and polished it from the top to bottom, its in good used condition throughout with a lovely timber patina
