An impressive William IV era mahogany Invalids table. Features a rectangular sliding top with a pair of ratcheted reading slopes to one side, over an adjustable octagonal stem above a shaped quadripartite base over flared bun feet with metal casters. Each slope has a small hole with brass insert towards the base for tray / reading shelf attachments. The tables versatile size allows for use as a console, lectern or duet music stand.
