This charming crystal & frosted glass lantern probably graced the entry hall of a fashionable English home. Its design was inspired by the domes at Brighton Pavilion, which in turn were inspired by the domes of buildings in India. The glass and crystal parts were hand cut or blown, probably in Birmingham, England. Today this lantern is perfect for the foyer or powder room. There is cluster of three 25-watt chandelier bulbs inside the shade which give off a quite strong light but when dimmed looked like candlelight. Ceiling cap, hanging hardware, and 1 foot of chain included.
