Danish 19th century flame mahogany side/sewing table circa 1870.
Good quality piece of danish furniture very much in the earlier William IV taste.
Rectangular top with canted corners and a concave front. Quarter matched veneers to the top which continue through the drawer front. Single drawer opens on the key, to reveal a fully fitted interior of compartments with removable lids. Supported by a turned and carved stem, with 4 arms that reach out to each corner of the underside of the top. Standing on 3 carved feet.
Ideal for use as a lamp table or for keeping things organised in the hallway.
Minor restorations to veneer, expected minor surface marks in line with age and use.
