A quite extraordinary early 17th century oak livery cupboard with rarely seen figural carving, caryatids, winged putti and fruiting vines.
The backboards and marble top are later. The top is solid marble – not reconstituted – with an attractive natural white, cream and grey veining and finely polished surface.
An early English oak livery cupboard with rarely seen carved figural and foliate design.
