Early 19th Century Dutch brass bound tea kettle bucket a Dutch early 19th century tea kettle heater. This tea kettle bucket is made of wood in vertical strips bound with copper bands and these are nailed. Inside the bucket is a copper lining, this is used to hold smoldering charcoal, which kept a tea kettle warm. This mahogany bucket with brass bands has an oval shape with a handle.
