A handsome early dark oak server from the British Jacobean period. Potbord base with fielded, or carved inset panels on the three drawers, typical of the period. Original brass teardrop eschutcheons. The wood has good color and patina and the piece is in sturdy condition for its age. There is a crack on the potboard which has been filled with wax in the traditional manner, shown.
