English mid-19th century firesafe in steel with brass plaques and key by Milner’s of Liverpool. This early patented firesafe is a rarity. It has its original brass Milner’s coat of arms on the front as well as a plaque declaring its date and safety. It presently sits in a custom made painted stand. There is a dent in the brass coat of arms. This is a very heavy safe, but is well supported by its stand. Registry dated 1845.
