English William IV rosewood writing table with replaced hand tooled and hand dyed antique green leather. This writing table is nicely detailed using high quality timber and a fine craftsman did the carving on the legs This desk can be free standing as it is finished on all sides; the working side has two thumbnail molded drawers and the opposite side has two faux drawers of the same design. The legs are turned, tapered and beautifully carved with lotus leaves; the legs have been tipped about an inch for adequate knee room. Circa 1830.

Wear consistent with age and use. This table has gone through our workshops, all joints are firm and drawers run smoothly . It is ready to be used on a daily basis.
