What a chair!!! I have never seen another like it with the ornately hand carved William IV style frame, it is way larger than a normal armchair and commands attention and respect in any setting
The piece has been fully restored to include having the old colour washed back, its then been hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, it is pretty much the best looking and most decorative armchair of this type for sale anywhere in the world today, there is only one of these and you are looking at it
The timber frame has been again washed back and French polished, this has been done in such a way so as to keep the original patina. The chair would have been fully reupholstered in the last 20 years with new leather and a seat platform

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
