A very fine and substantial late Regency early William IV mahogany three seater sofa attributed to Gillows of Lancaster in the Grecian manner. Standing on four large bulbous style turned legs, above a carved frieze with three loose padded seat cushions, side and back cushions upholstered in a Regency silk damask with opposing out-scrolling arms. The top rail decorated with an arch shaped back in the grecian manner.
