Magnificent and fine oblong antique silver tray with shaped leaf and scroll border and scroll handles. The surface of this tray is hand chased with beautifully detailed flower heads, leaves and scrolls against a mottled background, and surrounding a plain central cartouche. The decorative silver border of this excellent silver tray is hand raised and the whole tray is mounted on four exceptionally well detailed cast shell, leaf and scroll legs. The decoration is in superb condition.
This tray would be suitable for a five piece tea and coffee service.
