Late 19th Century Antique English Oval Covered Vegetable Server

Alfred Meakin antique English oval covered vegetable server/bowl decorated in the Tea Leaf pattern and in the scroll body shape, which was the first of the four body shapes he designed.

Alfred Meakin purchased the Royal Albert Pottery Works in the early 1870’s. The mark on this piece indicates it was made circa 1891-1897.
