Vintage Design
A reserved and detailed design. The materiality and coloring in black and brass is striking here. The heavy plate foot is designed as a flat bowl and offset from the floor with feet over a shadow joint. It is covered with black structural lacquer. In the middle of the foot, a brass panel is used as a decorative element and transition to the shaft. Slim brass shafts go off the center of the foot, two simple umbrellas sit at the upper ends. The shafts are covered with black plastic in the middle area. This serves as a grip and for decorative purposes. Both shades are simple cylinders that are covered with light parchment.
The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear. The shades were renewed. The surfaces were polished by an artisan to a high gloss and the electrics renewed.
