The striking Serpente by Martinelli Luce based on a design by Elio Martinelli from the 1960s. Here in a very rare version as a table clamp light.
The Serpente is a design that looks extremely elegant and dynamic due to the curved shape of the lamp arm. The special feature is the swivel lampshade, which can be rotated around the axis. The clamp thereby effortlessly holds the cantilevered arm. You can thus put the lamp in different positions with different lighting effect. The table clamp is designed as a box and houses two sockets next to the switch. This clamp version of the Serpente is a particularly rare and yet functional collector’s item that I have seen only one other time.
