Vintage Design
A pair of Swedish mid-century pendant lamps crafted by Fagerhults Belysning. Constructed from brass, they boast a distinctive funnel-shaped design with six candle holders mounted on a loose brass ring. The lamps can also be used without this additional ring. Fagerhults Belysning was founded in the mid 1940’s by Bertil Svensson, who built a floor lamp shaped as a question mark to his mother in 1943 as a Christmas gift. Encouraged by his mother, he soon started serial production and one lamp after another was created in the small factory. In the 1950’s, Fagerhult gained recognition for the iconic ‘Festival’ chandelier, designed by Gert Nyström.
