Vintage Design
The Saturn is a classic from the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup from a design by Jo Hammerborg from the 1950s. It is a very simple and symmetrical Minimalist design with attention to detail. Particularly striking is the contrast between aluminum and matte black or anthracite. The aluminum-colored lamp body is centrally surrounded by a wide dipped beam or reflector ring. The ring directs the light to the outer sides of the lamp body and can appear the aluminum. Up and down they are from direct light scattered by a corrugated diffuser plate. The interior of the blades and the webs are magenta colored and have a colored appearance on the outer surfaces of the aluminum light.
