Important antique solid table from the 16th century. Characterized by a simple and rustic line in solid oak wood for the legs and a single walnut board for the top. These tables were poor and simple because they were usually used as dining tables in convents or monasteries. This type of table in Italy is called “goat”; their use is typical of the 16th century in Tuscany and was characterized by a simple shape with a rectangular top that rested on two trestles and central x-shaped reinforcements. This beautiful antique table can be used in different ways and rooms: as a small desk, as a living room table or as a small dining table.
