Contemporary Design
Contemporary Ridge chandelier is made from 4 cast aluminium columns composed into a cross formation with cream necks and matte globes. The ridged texture that gives the light its name is the result of the making process giving the light a tactile surface quality. The double curved, cream necks lead to matte opal globe bulbs (brand: Tala) that dim to the perfect glow. The geometric shapes echo early 20th century sculptors such as Brancusi and Noguchi with an essence of Art deco and mid-century modern style. The light is of the highest quality using aluminium as the main source of material. The aluminium comes in a raw randomly brushed finish.
