Vintage Design
Sculptural shaped table lamp in very good condition. Designed by Georges Frydman, France 1960s. This lamp is a masterpiece of minimalistic elegance. Crafted from a solid circular tube of heavy cast aluminum, this sculptural table lamp stands as a testament to the timeless marriage of form and function. The lamp has a pristine glossy black lacquer finish, adding a touch of sophistication. Its design is a harmonious blend of simplicity and artistry, making it not just a source of soft, direct light but also an exquisite focal point that transforms your room. Georges Frydman was born in France in 1924. He quickly became passionate about interior furnishing after meeting Le Corbusier, an architect and designer whom he admires. In 1954, he founded the Functional Equipment of the House which will become the company EFA. He then organizes in Nice a showroom dedicated to his company, the journalist André Bloc notices his work and praises it in his magazine L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui. In 1966, Frydman received the highly acclaimed René Gabriel Award, a tribute to quality and economic serial furniture line designers.
