Vintage Design
Very rare pair of space age optical art wall lights/sconces by Egon Hillebrand for Hillebrand Lighting (Germany, 1970s). Each light consists of three superposed orange metal rectangular layers with a white metal square on the top. Can be hung/used both vertically and horizontally. They spread the light beautifully (see pictures). High quality craftsmanship.
Cleaned, well-wired and ready to use (compatible in Europe, UK, US, etc.). Each requires one small E14 light bulb (E12 in the US). LED compatible. Width: 21 cm/8.3”; height: 10.5 cm/4.2”; depth: 6 cm/2.4”. Very good vintage condition. Light wear consistent with age and use, some scratches.
