Three-Seater Sofa in Long Sheepskin by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for Fritz Hansen

The three-seater sofa was designed by Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and his partner Peter Hvidt for the legendary manufacturer Fritz Hansen in the late 1950s. Nevertheless, the new luxurious longhair sheepskin upholstery shows this classic mid-century design in a brand-new guise. It doesn’t just enhance comfort; it redefines elegance with its sumptuous texture. 
Versatile and lavish, it finds its perfect place in any setting—a cozy mountain chalet beside a crackling fireplace, a quaint castle, or any space where comfort meets exceptional design. 
Additionally, sheep wool has superior anti-allergic properties and provides electrostatic balance, which is valid in contemporary interiors full of artificial materials.
The seat and backrest feature spring coils which give extraordinary comfort and the frame and legs are made of solid beechwood.
 The worm honey color of cozy upholstery quilted with brown leather buttons and tapered solid wood legs enhances the Scandinavian elegance while adding a new quality. The sofa has been totally restored, we preserved the original frame and the spring coils and legs have been only refreshed and are still showing the age of the piece.
