The top of this side table is solid mahogany. The corners curve out to meet the carved support columns. The drawer front and apron extend all the way around to the back. It was made with highly figured burled walnut. The bullnose molding follows the entire contour of the table to the back. The front support columns are fluted and have acanthus leaf carvings on all four sides that terminate in a concave platform base which is also made from bookmatched burled walnut. The apron of the platform base has a beveled edge and apron that are both made with burled walnut.
