A rare William IV tea caddy in the form of a perfectly scaled model-miniature double pedestal sideboard with Integral Wine Cellaret, the pedestals with molded caddy tops above raised panel doors, the centerboard with a stepped bow front, above a bowfront frieze drawer, with a central carved raised rectangular panel forming the escutcheon plate, the hinged top enclosing a finely fitted interior in highly figured flame mahogany, with original canisters, the lids with original brass hinges, with integral matching wine cellaret which forms the interior well for the footed and gilt-etched mixing bowl, with a triangular-shaped backsplash, on raised bun feet, width 16-ins., English, ca. 1835.
